This will probably be our very last post with Blogger before we migrate to Wordpress. No specific reason for the move as Blogger had never given me problems as some people reported ie. loading photos. However, I just love Wordpress for their password protected features on specific post. In this case, I can blog about everything and protect it with a password if I just want to keep it to myself.
Anyway.... here you go, the title of our new blog will be Diary of my 2 Littleho.

This is the story of our little precious, Hayden Ho Shi Yu 诗宇 born on 24 February 2005 at KK hospital weighing 3.235kg & 50cm in length. Time passes fast and we hope to record all of Hayden's growing milestones and everything/anything that is interesting and worth memorising.

Irritated look
Thought I should blog about alphabet again. Since few weeks ago, he is already reading out A-Z proudly whenever we write to him. On numbers, he can read from 1 - 10 and 12. Not forgetting a big pool of words that he learn by the day. This boy is definitely developing well.
Remember I used to complain abt hard time taking photo for him? Well, surprisingly he is willing to sit down and do me some pose. Just when he started to get irritated, he give me that look which I just adore so much...
Irritating look..hhaaa " Mommy, r u done with ur photo taking???"

Potty train?
We spotted some nappy rashes on Hayden and wonder how does it comes about. For the past 2 years, this had never been a problem, we cleaned him up whenever he soiled himself and we changed his diaper very frequent.
The only thing I can relate is I found him soiling himself when he wake up... Probably it had been soiled for a long time causing the rash. Anyway, this lead us into thinking if this is the time to potty train little fellow.
Just when we were talking about this matter on our way home from work and the moment we reached home, Mom told us that Hayden is diaper free... huh, are we all thinking about the same thing...:) The only thing is he had been diaper free for almost 2 hours but whenever we brought him to the toilet, he did not pee.
He joined us on the dinner table and drank a lot of water... so I was quite worry that he may just pee and mess up the whole place. Of course he did not... so I thought maybe I should put on a diaper for him now as this is good enough for a first training.
In the bedroom, he quickly climb up to the bed and jump about. I damn worry that he may pee on there so I drag him down and decided to try my luck again. Brought him in to the toilet and as I pull down his pant... i say " sheeee sheee", and he started to pee without wetting himself at all.
I think he is doing very well for a start. His bladder is all full, why didnt he pee eariler? or he already know how to control his bladder, that he can pee only when the pant is down???
I think we shall continue with potty training him from now and see how far can we go from here...:)

Grrrrhhh... Bronchitis again
I have been so lazy to update this blog. Sometimes I thought of shutting down this blog but then where do I noted down Hayden's growing moment if I do so?
Anyway, it was another 4 days spend at Thomson Medical Center for Hayden's Bronchitis. Like before, he first started with running nose so we brought him to see PD and came back with medication. As there is no coughing, hence, no cough medication was given. All things went on well for 2 days until he started to cough and within hours, he started to wheeze.
So we visit his PD on 28 Feb again and PD advise to ward him for a day or 2 since it was so closed to his last espoide. For me, I would think 1 or 2 days for monitoring is reasonable too. However, Hayden's wheezing was getting worse by the evening, so it all add up to a 4 days stay altogether.
I'm quite season with hospital stay with Hayden by now..:) Each time we went into Level 4 ward, majority of the nurses could recogise us, some even drop by the room to say Hi...
Anyway, this time Hayden recover faster and it wasnt as bad as the previous time. But all I hope for now is Bronchitis to go away totally... or at least hit us at a longer interval.

Hayden is 2
Barney & gang birthday cake for Hayden.
The whole time I am holding on to his both hand as to prevent he mess up with the cake. He find enjoment in cutting the cake...:)
so he cut & cut & cut...
I am quite disappointed with all the pictures taken. None of it capture Hayden's smile and none of the picture capture the 2 folks behind in full. :(
Had steamboat dinner back at Mom's place. As usual, hard time taking picture for Hayden, if I am 1 sec late, he properly have sneak out. I notice toddlers seem to prefer playing with older kids... He love Yun En alot & always hug her but with his younger niece, he normally let her chase after him...:)

Chinese New Year - Continue
Great that it’s Friday and consider that I didn’t take any leave to extend the CNY holiday… I feel that the coming weekend is a much awaited one.:) Still in holiday mood though and the whole office is damn quiet… that explain why I am updating post in the office… opps..:)
Guess this CNY we did the least.
2nd day of Chinese New Year
Last year we followed PIL to visit:
1) Ah-Gor (father-in-law’s sister)
2) Kau-Fu (pardon my Cantonese, I need MANY MANY more years to master it…heehe, I mean mother-in-law’s brother)
So no exception for this year, except that Hayden is now 1 year older and he wont be happy with just filling him up with milk while we do house-hopping. Either we make a super quick visit and reach home by lunch time or we dun go. But I think the old folk want Hayden to meet the relatives so there we go, make a SUPER short & sweet visit to 3 families and reached home in time for Hayden porridge and our steamboat lunch.
The rest of the day we idle at home.
3rd day of Chinese New Year
Visited my cousin’s new place at Geylang. Met her daughter(Faith, 3 year old) and find her so sweet & pretty. At this age, she is already speaking well and mingles with the adult. I keep thinking to myself that by next year, Hayden should be able to do the same. Faith has a big kitchen set and Hayden was busy playing with the set. Consider that kitchen is a forbidden place for Hayden(we hardly allow him in) and yet he knows how to play around with the set ie, turning on the oven, cooking, pouring pepper into plates etc. Before this, I have a hard time convincing hubby to buy Hayden a kitchen set as he think that is a GIRL game. Now he is totally convinced and guess what? Right after we left cousin’s place, we went to Toy R US and bought a bigger kitchen set(for his coming birthday).
4th – 6th day of Chinese New Year
Life back to normal… All gone back to work….

年初一
We rise early today and head to the GuangYin temple at Bugis. Lots of people praying for a good year ahead and we are no exception...:) Look at the crowd, it was a challenge to sqeeze in to the main hall but somehow we managed...:)
It was a long day and we only cover in-law & my parents place to 拜年. What's next, well...we have not really plan out on where to go for the next 2 days, so do come back for the updates...:)

Ya Sui Qian
Gave Hayden Ya Sui Qian before he sleep. He is not interested in the red packet at all and continue with his Lego activities. I wish him good health, be a good boy and stay happy forever...:)

Reunion Dinner - Part 2
Had our reunion dinner with hubby's family today. Same as all previous years, we dine out at Lee Wah Resturant. It was a LONG dinner as food was served very slowly and somehow the dishes are not as GOOD as before... Anyway, we still have a very nice evening spend for the reunion dinner.

Reunion Dinner - Part 1
Last evening(eve of Chinese New Year eve), we had our reunion dinner with my family. This year is a little different cos we have it at our place. We started the dinner at about 7.30pm and end some 2 hrs later. With Hayden around, it is difficult for me to have a peaceful meal. Little fellow was all ready by 6pm, sitting at the dinner table waiting for the crowd to arrive..:)

Cute behavior
#1 - 偷吃
He quietly go into the dining room, tip up his toes & lift up the food cover. Than he lift up his right hand and grabbed a little bit of vegetable and there into his mouth. Mom & myself were having some conversation and realize it was quiet all of a sudden!!! The moment we turned to him, we saw him putting the food that he had grabbed into his mouth and gave us that pretending look that he did nothing. Very cute behavior but just wonder what will happen if those that he grabbed are chilli?
#2 - Mommy = Baby???
These days, he called me “Baby” & feed me his breakfast…CUTE! I really can’t bear to leave home for work everyday and yes, I still have to sneak out instead of bidding bye to him…
#3 - He know by Kissing U, he can get his way
Sometimes when he refuse to sleep and want to go into the playroom, he will come kiss me all over non-stop, followed by grabbing my hand and ask me to bring him over. How can I not bring him over with all these kisses that he had showered?
